Responsibilities

• ▹Build the technical backbone of digital solutions, from microservices to cloud infrastructure
• ▹Make architecture decisions that determine the speed, stability and scalability of the systems
• ▹Identify weaknesses, detect errors early and uncover optimization potential
• ▹Try alternative approaches and bring fresh ideas to modernize the technology landscape
• ▹Work with business analysts, test managers and other stakeholders in an international team

Requirements

• ▹Completed degree in a relevant field (e.g. computer science, insurance) or several years of comparable professional experience
• ▹Familiarity with agile development methods and DevOps practices
• ▹Hands-on development experience with Cobol
• ▹Structured analysis of complex problems and development of solutions, including through modern technologies such as GenAI
• ▹Clear communication in German and English and the ability to present results convincingly
• ▹Curiosity, willingness to learn new technologies and quick adaptation to changing requirements
