Java Fullstack Developer (contract)

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, develop and maintain full-stack applications using Java and Angular
• ▹Build and enhance backend services, APIs and integrations to support business applications
• ▹Develop responsive, user-friendly frontend solutions using Angular and JavaScript
• ▹Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps and Agile teams throughout the software development lifecycle
• ▹Take part in application design, coding, testing, debugging, deployment and ongoing maintenance
• ▹Develop and support microservices-based applications and containerised environments
• ▹Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis and implement effective solutions
• ▹Ensure code quality through best practices, code reviews, testing and continuous improvement
• ▹Contribute to CI/CD pipeline implementation and automation processes
• ▹Support system integrations using REST APIs, HTTPS, SFTP and SOAP protocols

Requirements

• ▹5-7 years of experience as a Java Full Stack Developer
• ▹Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Framework and Hibernate
• ▹Experience with Angular and JavaScript for frontend development
• ▹Good understanding of REST APIs, SOAP services, HTTPS and SFTP protocols
• ▹Experience with microservices architecture and containerisation technologies
• ▹Familiarity with Linux operating systems and command-line environments
• ▹Experience with source control and DevOps tools such as Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Maven, Jenkins and Jira
• ▹Strong knowledge of MySQL and SQL databases
• ▹Understanding of Agile development methodologies and Scrum practices
• ▹Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• ▹Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• ▹Proven ability to work effectively with Product, QA, DevOps and cross-functional development teams
• ▹Ability to deliver high-quality, scalable and maintainable software solutions in a fast-paced environment
