Junior OutSystems Developer

Responsibilities

• ▹Develop and maintain OutSystems applications following the project's technical guidelines
• ▹Implement features, screens, processes and reusable components
• ▹Help fix incidents and solve technical problems
• ▹Write unit tests and support functional validation
• ▹Build simple integrations with external systems through APIs and web services
• ▹Write and maintain basic technical and functional documentation
• ▹Support deployment and promotion between environments
• ▹Apply the development, quality and best-practice standards set by the team
• ▹Collaborate with analysts, architects and senior developers on the evolution of applications
• ▹Take an active part in training and ongoing technical improvement

Requirements

• ▹1-2 years of experience in OutSystems development (Reactive Web and/or Traditional Web)
• ▹Basic knowledge of data modelling, business logic and user interface development in OutSystems
• ▹Experience or knowledge of consuming REST APIs and web services
• ▹Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• ▹Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• ▹Familiarity with version control tools and software lifecycle management
• ▹Ability to analyse incidents and make simple functional and technical fixes
• ▹Technical English sufficient to work with vendor documentation and support
• ▹Associate Developer certification (ODC or O11)

Nice to have

• ▹Associate Tech Lead or Web Developer Specialist certification (ODC or O11)
• ▹Other entry-level or foundational OutSystems certifications
