Senior IT Architect

Responsibilities

• ▹Drive and document solution architecture based on business needs and technical conditions
• ▹Analyze technical alternatives, dependencies, risks and consequences and produce and gain buy-in for decision material
• ▹Hold qualified technical dialogues with operations suppliers, software suppliers and other external parties
• ▹Contribute architecture material for knowledge transfer during the transition to in-state operation
• ▹Design and quality-assure architecture for integrations, APIs and information flows
• ▹Contribute to technical requirements and the development of architecture principles, target architectures and the agency's architecture function
• ▹Analyze and document the structure, integrations and technical dependencies of systems and formulate requirements for future operation and management

Requirements

• ▹Relevant university degree or comparable knowledge gained through work experience
• ▹Several years of experience independently driving and documenting solution architecture in complex IT environments
• ▹Experience designing robust and secure IT solutions
• ▹Technical background in systems development, IT infrastructure or systems integration
• ▹Experience analyzing technical dependencies and designing solutions where applications, integrations, security and infrastructure must work together
• ▹Swedish citizenship and approved security vetting under the Protective Security Act
• ▹Ability to analyze technical alternatives, risks and dependencies
• ▹Ability to weigh the needs of individual projects against the agency's long-term needs
• ▹Ability to explain complex technology pedagogically to different audiences
• ▹Ability to collaborate with different roles and drive architecture issues forward together

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with business-critical systems in payroll, finance or ERP
• ▹Experience with migration, operations transitions or on-premises or private cloud environments
