Responsibilities

• ▹Design, develop and further develop container-based platforms on-prem and in the cloud
• ▹Work with Kubernetes and modern cloud native technologies
• ▹Build and further develop CI/CD flows following GitOps principles
• ▹Automate operations and development processes, for example with Ansible
• ▹Work with GitLab, ArgoCD and JFrog
• ▹Drive technical improvements and contribute to architecture and technology choices
• ▹Identify new opportunities in the cloud native and CNCF ecosystem
• ▹Collaborate closely with development teams to create a platform that is simple, stable and efficient to use
• ▹Take part in incident handling and continuous improvement
• ▹Be a technical role model and help develop others in the team

Requirements

• ▹Several years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps or equivalent
• ▹Strong command of Kubernetes, Linux, automation and CI/CD
• ▹Experience in complex technical environments and building, developing or modernising platforms
• ▹Has taken natural technical leadership in previous roles

Nice to have

• ▹Technical lead or informal technical leadership responsibility
• ▹Acted as mentor for less experienced colleagues
• ▹Driven technical initiatives or change projects
• ▹Influenced architecture, technology choices or ways of working
