System Test Engineer in the Defence Industry

Responsibilities

• ▹Plan, carry out and document system tests of complex technical systems
• ▹Test in lab environments as well as at external sites and in the field
• ▹Verify function, performance and system integration between software, hardware and electronics
• ▹Collaborate with project teams, developers and other test resources in a matrix organisation
• ▹Take part in troubleshooting, analysis and improvement work
• ▹Over time, take greater responsibility for test leadership, planning and coordination

Requirements

• ▹Master of Engineering degree in a relevant field, for example computer engineering, electrical engineering or engineering physics
• ▹A couple of years of experience in testing, preferably system test or verification of complex systems
• ▹Good technical understanding of both software and hardware
• ▹Command of Swedish and English, spoken and written
• ▹Ability to pass security clearance: the position is security classified, which may require certain citizenship
