Responsibilities

• ▹Develop the SLAM algorithms at the core of the mapping devices
• ▹Systematically evaluate the accuracy, robustness and performance of algorithms and sensors
• ▹Work on the processing pipeline from raw sensor data to the generation of point clouds and maps
• ▹Continuously improve automated tests and automated delivery of software

Requirements

• ▹A Master's degree or PhD in computer science or a similar field, ideally with a specialization in robotics and/or Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM)
• ▹3-5 years of hands-on experience with professional software development (ideally using modern C++ and Python)
• ▹A solid foundation in mathematical concepts of geometry and optimization
• ▹The drive to stay up-to-date on latest advances in robotics, SLAM and software development
• ▹A preference for systematic data-driven experimentation and technology development
• ▹Fluent in English
