Founding Engineer - Mo Team (AI Health Companion)

Mo is a small team within Alan building an intelligent, empathetic, multimodal LLM-based conversational AI health companion that can prescribe, triage and proactively follow up on care. Launched to all 1M French members in Q1 2026, it is the first safe AI health companion live at scale in Europe. You'll work at the intersection of product engineering, ML engineering and medical expertise.

Responsibilities

▹Deliver a world-class, snappy and delightful chatting experience with fast time-to-answer
▹Integrate Mo with Alan's services and healthcare system (digital chat with HPs, location maps, prevention programs)
▹Extend the architecture and agentic framework to support Mo's next chapters and new countries
▹Own product use cases and implement new capabilities across engineering, data and medical expertise
▹Mentor engineers and help build the team, including hiring and interview design

Requirements

▹3+ years of experience as a product engineer
▹Applied background in software engineering and systems architecture
▹Excitement for building state-of-the-art AI systems for high-stakes healthcare problems
▹Fluent English (no French needed)

Nice to have

▹Experience with traditional ML, LLMs or ML dev ops
▹Ex-founder background
▹Experience with multi-agent architectures and human-in-the-loop learning
