Software Engineer II, Content Quality – Quick Commerce

Responsibilities

• ▹Design and implement high-traffic services and APIs for handling product content at scale, delivering well-scoped features end-to-end from design to production
• ▹Take part in the architectural evolution of Content Quality systems, balancing immediate business needs with long-term system health, with guidance from senior engineers
• ▹Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Data) to solve complex challenges in the content domain
• ▹Monitor and fine-tune system performance for a seamless experience for global users
• ▹Help manage the end-to-end journey of product content, from ingestion and validation to enrichment and customer-facing exposure
• ▹Practice modern methodologies such as TDD, Continuous Delivery and Scrum, and grow peers through insightful code reviews
• ▹Take ownership of the services you build, from design and debugging to post-deployment monitoring and scaling

Requirements

• ▹At least 4 years of professional experience building robust applications in Python
• ▹Experience with, or a genuine drive to build, large-scale distributed systems handling high request volumes
• ▹Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms and software design patterns
• ▹Hands-on exposure to AWS or GCP and a Configuration as Code mindset (Terraform, CloudFormation or Helm), with a willingness to deepen it
• ▹Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (ArgoCD, Drone) and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, distributed tracing)
• ▹Solid knowledge of relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis) databases
• ▹Data-driven decision making, ownership and the drive to resolve problems without waiting to be told
