Forward Deployment Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Act as the technical bridge between product and customer setups, translating requirements into robust implementations
• ▹Lead production rollouts of AI assistant setups: workflows, logic, data flows, prompts and guardrails
• ▹Implement integrations with CRM, calendar, ticketing and payment systems via APIs and webhooks
• ▹Develop small-to-medium features and glue code with tests, monitoring and logging
• ▹Debug live issues across calls, flows and data and deploy rapid fixes
• ▹Build reusable templates, deployment playbooks and best practices
• ▹Feed pain points and feature gaps back to product quickly

Requirements

• ▹Several years of experience capturing customer requirements and translating them into production implementation plans
• ▹Experience building and rolling out production workflows, data flows, prompts and guardrails for AI applications
• ▹Deep understanding of LLM-based systems: prompting, tool use, RAG, evaluation and failure modes
• ▹Hands-on experience with integrations (APIs, webhooks) and auth patterns such as OAuth and API keys
• ▹Strong coding skills (TypeScript or Python preferred) with testing, monitoring and logging
• ▹Basic cloud deployment and observability experience for production debugging

Nice to have

• ▹German proficiency at B2 level or above (strongly preferred)
• ▹Voice or telephony integrations, workflow automation tools, SQL, monitoring/tracing, GDPR
