Backend Engineer

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Design and build clean, testable and efficient backend systems
• ▹Ship customer-facing features in one of the product teams
• ▹Work closely with Deployment, go-to-market teams and customers
• ▹Turn repeated setup work into product improvements
• ▹Care for testing, quality and long-term maintainability
• ▹Shape engineering practices and technical culture

Requirements

• ▹3 to 5+ years as a backend engineer at a modern tech company
• ▹High level of ownership and care, with a track record to show for it
• ▹Enjoy working with customers and can explain technical topics to non-engineers

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with AI features and their evaluation, or product analytics
• ▹Familiarity with the current stack: Node.js, TypeScript, Event Sourcing, Express, Postgres, RabbitMQ, Kubernetes, AWS (not required)
