Full Stack Engineer, Enterprise Engineering

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, build and maintain scalable, reliable and performant services and systems
• ▹Collaborate with engineers across Stripe and stakeholders across product, design, risk, legal and operations
• ▹Build easy-to-use systems that streamline adoption of Stripe and enable safe migration of data
• ▹Make effective tradeoffs that consider business priorities, user experience and a sustainable technical foundation
• ▹Improve engineering standards, tooling and processes

Requirements

• ▹2+ years of industry experience shipping high-quality products
• ▹Strong analytical capability and ability to quickly ramp up in a new area and tackle ambiguous problems
• ▹Experience building end-to-end solutions, including the full development lifecycle of deploying and maintaining the infrastructure
• ▹Experience with web software development
• ▹Hold yourself and others to a high bar when working with production systems
• ▹Take ownership and drive projects to business impact

• ▹Strong collaboration and communication skills with technical and non-technical counterparts
• ▹Able to reason clearly and move with urgency in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
• ▹Creative in designing and delivering the best solutions for users
