QA Automation Engineer - AI-First Quality Engineering

Responsibilities

• ▹Build an AI-first, automation-first quality engineering approach for Payroll
• ▹Create automated regression coverage for existing and newly modernized capabilities
• ▹Use AI to discover, generate and continuously improve relevant test scenarios
• ▹Create characterization and golden-master style tests for insufficiently protected existing behaviour
• ▹Build automated API, integration and service-level testing
• ▹Establish AI-driven test-data management: realistic and controlled data, variations and edge cases, reusable data sets, gap identification
• ▹Translate complex business rules into automated, repeatable validation with Payroll domain experts
• ▹Use AI to analyse system behaviour, regression risks and test failures, and to identify likely root causes
• ▹Integrate automated quality controls and quality gates into the delivery process

Requirements

• ▹Several years of experience in QA automation, quality engineering or software testing
• ▹Practical experience with API, integration and backend testing, CI/CD pipelines and automated quality gates
• ▹Good scripting skills to automate repetitive technical tasks
• ▹Strong analytical thinking and ability to understand complex business rules
• ▹Automation-first mindset: repetitive validation is automated by default
• ▹AI-first mindset: you naturally consider AI and automation for quality-engineering challenges
• ▹AI-first test data management: generating representative Payroll scenarios and edge cases, maintaining deterministic reusable data sets
