AI Orchestrator – Chapter AI

Responsibilities

• ▹Deploy coding agents purposefully: plan and break down tasks, let agents work in parallel and review results until they meet quality standards
• ▹Make the years-old C# and C++ codebase accessible to AI (project context, instructions, architecture knowledge, documentation, a reliable test base)
• ▹Translate existing CI/CD, security and quality guardrails so AI agents understand and follow them (instructions, skills, automated checks)
• ▹Build reusable building blocks (prompts, skills, custom commands, MCP servers) and integrate them into Azure DevOps processes and pipelines
• ▹Share knowledge in Chapter AI and the squads, coach colleagues and demonstrate best practices
• ▹Make visible where AI brings real value (lead time, quality, developer experience) and evolve the roadmap with the Chapter Lead
• ▹Follow the rapid developments in AI and bring the best of them into the company

Requirements

• ▹Completed computer science degree or comparable qualification
• ▹Several years of professional software development experience with C# and/or C++
• ▹Intensive hands-on experience with AI coding tools and agentic workflows (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) beyond plain autocompletion
• ▹Sound understanding of LLMs and their limits, including context engineering, prompting and evaluating results
• ▹Experience with large, long-grown codebases and their modernization
• ▹Experience with quality, security and CI/CD standards, ideally with Microsoft Azure DevOps, and the ability to prepare existing rules so AI agents apply them reliably
• ▹Very good German and good English, spoken and written
• ▹Enjoyment in sharing knowledge

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with the Model Context Protocol (MCP)
• ▹IT administration background or exposure to Unified Endpoint Management
