Backend Team Lead - Scanner (B2B Contract)

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Lead the team's execution across several workstreams, ensuring high-quality delivery within every sprint
• ▹Own the Sprint Planning process
• ▹Act as the bridge between the team and other departments to remove blockers and support cross-team dependencies
• ▹Improve team velocity and individual capabilities through coaching, mentoring and identifying skill gaps
• ▹Own the technical design of team features, ensuring they are scalable, reliable and clean
• ▹Participate in high-scale, cloud-based development (AWS, MongoDB) and conduct rigorous code reviews
• ▹Work closely with Product Managers to shape features from concept to production
• ▹Participate in technical sessions with customers
• ▹Be the focal point for domain discussions and own communication with internal Customer Success teammates
• ▹Lead discussions and technical decisions on enhancements and new features planning
• ▹Integrate AI tools and workflows into the daily development lifecycle (AI-assisted coding, automated testing, prompt-driven prototyping)

Requirements

• ▹6+ years of hands-on development experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role
• ▹Deep expertise in Node.js (must-have) and React (preferred)
• ▹Familiarity with AWS (must-have)
• ▹Proven track record of managing project execution and delivering end-to-end features in a fast-paced environment
• ▹Strong interpersonal skills, ability to lead a global team and communicate complex technical decisions to non-technical audiences
• ▹Early adopter of AI technologies, passionate about using AI to improve developer experience and system performance
