Senior Engineering Manager (Hands-on) – Offer

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Build the Offer area team, guide its work and support its growth
• ▹Set technical direction, make architectural decisions and define quality standards
• ▹Roll out the shared Core Stack: one set of shared rules with room for local differences instead of country-by-country code (Spain already runs on it, France is next)
• ▹Develop AI-assisted offer building and pricing tools for Sales
• ▹Bring Life & Disability insurance to the same maturity level as Health
• ▹Shape incident response and the organization as the area scales to more countries
• ▹Shape the roadmap with product functions and commit honestly to what the team can deliver
• ▹Stay hands-on: write and review code

Requirements

• ▹3+ years leading engineering teams with a track record of building high performers
• ▹Experience establishing engineering excellence standards and guiding architectural decisions
• ▹Eagerness to keep writing code, reviewing it and shipping some yourself
• ▹Comfort with modern development practices and AI-assisted development tools
• ▹Ability to partner with product functions as an equal

Nice to have

• ▹First-hand experience shipping AI or LLM products to production
• ▹Prior founder experience
