.NET Engineer (Junior) – VPN Windows team

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Develop and maintain the NordVPN Windows desktop applications, ensuring all features are operational and high-performing
• ▹Work across the full software stack, focusing primarily on desktop application development
• ▹Collaborate in a cross-functional team of developers, designers, QA and Product Owners
• ▹Use Microsoft tools and technologies to extend and enhance product functionality
• ▹Contribute to team-based software development and complex problem-solving
• ▹Use technologies and languages outside .NET when project requirements call for it

Requirements

• ▹Software development experience as a .NET (C#) developer
• ▹Understanding of object-oriented programming principles
• ▹Basic knowledge of source control and unit testing practices
• ▹Ability to adapt quickly to changes and solve complex edge cases

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with XAML-based technologies such as WPF, UWP or similar
• ▹Knowledge of native Windows programming principles, APIs and WCF
