Senior Product Analytics Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Own product analytics across product lines: define and track success metrics and targets aligned with product and company strategy
• ▹Guide product leaders' decisions with compelling data stories
• ▹Build reusable, scalable data products with other engineers that enable self-service analytics
• ▹Build a governed self-service layer: define event instrumentation and taxonomy for the event-driven architecture and enable Product and GTM peers
• ▹Drive data literacy through enablement and close partnership
• ▹Work AI-native: apply LLMs and AI tooling deliberately, from query generation to dashboard building to insight synthesis
• ▹Work cross-functionally with GTM: connect product usage to commercial outcomes (win/loss, expansion, renewal) and scale repeatable analyses and automations

Requirements

• ▹5+ years in a data analytics, analytics engineering or data science role, with significant experience supporting product teams in B2B companies
• ▹Expert in product analytics fundamentals: metric trees, experimentation, user activity and retention analytics, funnels and customer segmentation
• ▹Excellent SQL skills and strong experience with DBT for data transformations
• ▹Experience coding in Python is also relevant
• ▹Strong experience with data modelling for scale and reusability
• ▹Demonstrated experience using current LLM offerings to improve your own or your team's workflows, with concrete examples and measurable impact
• ▹Work authorization in the UK, Ireland or Portugal
