Senior Software Engineer (Cloud Native)

Responsibilities

• ▹Design and program complex cloud-native architectures and APIs (AWS Serverless, microservices) with a focus on clean code.
• ▹Translate complex customer needs into stable cloud infrastructure and explain it clearly to developers and the client.
• ▹Proactively monitor and optimise application uptime, API performance, data security and cloud costs (FinOps).
• ▹Review code, guard technical standards and coach other developers in the team.
• ▹Collaborate asynchronously, document and deliver code effectively in a distributed, remote-first team.

Requirements

• ▹Higher professional education (HBO) working and thinking level.
• ▹Several years of experience building large-scale, complex cloud-native applications.
• ▹Significant AWS experience and knowledge of designing stable infrastructure for mobile apps (iOS and Android).
• ▹Knowledge of modern software development practices: Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code.
• ▹Staying calm during critical go-live moments.
• ▹Living in the Netherlands.
