Responsibilities

• ▹Analyse functional and non-functional requirements
• ▹Identify technical constraints and interfaces
• ▹Design system components, interfaces and data flows
• ▹Analyse internal and external dependencies between modules, services and third-party systems
• ▹Assess the impact of dependencies on maintainability, extensibility and release cycles
• ▹Define integration strategies, e.g. API gateways, adapters, service mesh
• ▹Research and evaluate alternative technologies, frameworks or products
• ▹Prepare decision bases such as pro/contra tables and proofs of concept
• ▹Analyse risks when migrating to or introducing new solutions
• ▹Plan the containerisation of existing or new components and assess their suitability (statefulness, dependencies, resource use)
• ▹Define guidelines for containerisation
• ▹Create and maintain technical documentation
• ▹Architecture reviews, DevOps support
• ▹Ensure performance, scalability, availability and security
• ▹Integrate authentication, authorisation and encryption; implement security-by-design and privacy-by-design
• ▹Technical coordination with dev teams, operations, product owners and external partners
• ▹Present and defend architecture decisions to management or customers

Requirements

• ▹At least 3 years of experience with Kubernetes applications
• ▹At least 3 years of experience analysing and assessing legacy software for migration to cloud environments
• ▹At least 3 years of experience in requirements analysis and system design of air-gap container repositories
• ▹At least 3 years of experience designing test scenarios for migrated legacy software on the cloud target platform
• ▹At least 3 years of experience with code version control / Git
• ▹At least 3 years of hands-on experience in DevOps or DevSecOps
• ▹At least 3 years of experience in Linux environments
• ▹At least 3 years of experience diagnosing and troubleshooting production enterprise infrastructure
• ▹Willingness to undergo security clearance SÜ2 under section 9 SÜG (Geheim/Sabotageschutz)
