Cloud Engineer (AWS/Azure)

Responsibilities

• ▹Operate and administer AWS and/or Azure infrastructure
• ▹Handle incidents and requests in cloud environments
• ▹Execute changes and maintenance tasks on production systems
• ▹Analyze and resolve infrastructure, connectivity, performance, and availability issues
• ▹Administer and configure cloud services
• ▹Automate recurring operational tasks
• ▹Develop and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• ▹Participate in cloud evolution, migration, and transformation projects
• ▹Apply security, availability, resilience, and cost-optimization best practices
• ▹Monitor and analyze logs, metrics, and events
• ▹Maintain technical documentation and procedures
• ▹Collaborate with Cloud Architecture, DevOps, Security, and Networking teams

Requirements

• ▹Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS: EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, ELB/ALB, Route 53, CloudWatch, Lambda, AWS Organizations; or Azure: Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Virtual Networks, Entra ID/Azure AD, Azure Monitor, Azure SQL, Load Balancer/Application Gateway, Azure Functions, Azure Resource Manager, Azure Policy)
• ▹Solid foundation in cloud infrastructure and networking
• ▹Experience with Terraform, Git, and CI/CD tools
• ▹Automation skills in Bash, PowerShell, and/or Python
• ▹Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VPN, firewalls, load balancers
• ▹Knowledge of cloud security
• ▹Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools
• ▹Experience with incident and change management
• ▹Ability to troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with both AWS and Azure, multicloud environments
• ▹Advanced Terraform and Terragrunt skills
• ▹Kubernetes and Docker knowledge
• ▹Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools
• ▹Ansible knowledge
• ▹Experience designing and operating Landing Zones
• ▹Knowledge of AWS Organizations/Control Tower, Azure Management Groups/Azure Policy
• ▹FinOps and cloud cost-optimization knowledge
• ▹Cloud security experience
• ▹AWS/Azure migration experience
• ▹Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow
