Co-Founder / Tech Partner (AI & Open Source) from Estonia

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Co-designing and building the overall technical architecture (core system, integrations, application layer)
• ▹Developing and integrating AI components (LLMs, semantic search, analytics)
• ▹Designing and implementing a modular, container-based platform (Docker, API-first approach)
• ▹Connecting existing systems (e.g. ERP, data sources) via adapter logic
• ▹Contributing to product strategy and the technical roadmap
• ▹Selecting and establishing a sustainable open-source technology stack
• ▹Actively supporting the development of a strong network within the Estonian startup ecosystem (tech community, partners, programs)
• ▹Collaborating with funding bodies, programs, and relevant stakeholders in Estonia

Requirements

• ▹Experience in software development (ideally Python / backend / APIs)
• ▹Knowledge of AI / machine learning / LLM integration
• ▹Experience with container technologies and system architecture
• ▹Strong understanding of data structures, data models, and distributed systems
• ▹Interest in open-source ecosystems and privacy-focused solutions
• ▹Ability to structure and implement technical concepts independently
• ▹Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in a co-founder role
• ▹Strong networking mindset – ideally with exposure to startup ecosystems (experience in Estonia is a plus)
