Responsibilities

• ▹Conceive, develop, and maintain a cross-cutting software platform for optronic vision systems
• ▹Requirements engineering and software specification
• ▹Cross-cutting and specific further development of the platform and its development processes
• ▹Middleware programming for automating distributed systems over CAN bus and Ethernet
• ▹Object-oriented development in C++
• ▹Agile planning and implementation within the team
• ▹Use of modern software and web technologies (git, jira, confluence, CMake, catch2, sqlite, buildroot, Enterprise Architect)

Requirements

• ▹Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field, or vocational training focused on embedded software development
• ▹At least 5 years of professional experience
• ▹Experience with software architecture description using UML in Enterprise Architect; object-oriented development in C++ (17/23) for Buildroot Linux, QNX, and FreeRTOS
• ▹Knowledge of requirements engineering and specification creation in DOORS
• ▹Middleware programming knowledge in at least one technology (MQTT, DDS, CANopen)
• ▹Experience developing unit and component tests
• ▹Business-fluent German and English
