Responsibilities

• ▹Host live sessions and office hours timed around a US-based cohort
• ▹Review and assess student projects with clear, constructive feedback
• ▹Run architecture review boards
• ▹Act as escalation point for a team of supporting instructors
• ▹Mentor students via 1:1 calls, Q&A sessions, and group events
• ▹Host webinars and workshops on program topics and industry insights
• ▹Share expertise through written guidance and curated learning resources

Requirements

• ▹Track record of designing and shipping systems at scale
• ▹Strong, well-formed opinions on what good architecture looks like
• ▹Deep expertise in one focus area: (A) System foundations, API & data architecture (OpenTelemetry, REST/GraphQL/gRPC, DDD, SQL/NoSQL, sharding, replication, Redis caching); (B) Cloud & distributed systems (Kubernetes, Terraform, GitOps, CI/CD, FinOps, CAP theorem, event-driven architecture, Kafka); or (C) Security, AI systems & architecture leadership (zero-trust, threat modeling, compliance, LLM integration, RAG, ML reliability, AI governance, ADRs, C4 diagrams)
• ▹Availability of 15-25 hrs/week, mostly async with scheduled live sessions
