Test Engineer - Embedded Software & Systems

Responsibilities

• ▹Develop, plan and execute software and system tests for embedded systems and control units
• ▹Create test specifications, test cases and automated test procedures
• ▹Analyze, document and track errors in close collaboration with development teams
• ▹Perform integration, system and validation tests (HiL - Hardware-in-the-Loop)
• ▹Further develop test environments and optimize test processes and strategies
• ▹Support quality assurance for safety-critical systems and functions

Requirements

• ▹Completed degree in electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics or a comparable field
• ▹Knowledge of software testing, quality assurance or embedded systems
• ▹Analytical, structured way of working and strong quality awareness
• ▹Very good written and spoken German
• ▹Team player with enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with test automation and HiL systems
• ▹Knowledge of Vector tools (e.g. CANoe, vTESTstudio)
• ▹Understanding of CAN bus communication
• ▹Experience in object-oriented programming (e.g. C, C++, Python)
