Senior IT Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Manage IT infrastructure security services, including firewall, endpoint security, web security and SOC services
• ▹Design and conceive new services and develop related policies
• ▹Define and implement standard processes to ensure efficient operations
• ▹Install and configure relevant security services
• ▹Plan and run tests and optimize systems to improve performance
• ▹Ensure operational readiness through independent measures and interventions
• ▹Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents during live operations
• ▹Advise on technical questions within complex services and coach colleagues

Requirements

• ▹Completed vocational training or degree in IT, or many years of professional experience in an equivalent role
• ▹Several years of professional experience in IT security is a plus
• ▹Knowledge of firewall, endpoint security, web security and SOC services
• ▹Openness to international collaboration
• ▹Business-fluent (min. B2-C1) German and good English
• ▹Analytical mindset, problem-solving skills and teamwork
