IT Security Specialist

Responsibilities

• ▹Develop, implement and continuously advance company-wide IT security strategies
• ▹Manage and administer complex, multi-site firewall environments together with interdisciplinary teams
• ▹Take responsibility for the technical implementation of security measures and controls protecting the IT infrastructure from cyberattacks and unauthorized access
• ▹Introduce, configure, develop and operate modern IT security solutions
• ▹Identify, analyze and assess potential security risks and vulnerabilities, and develop suitable mitigation and prevention measures
• ▹Advise internal departments on security-related questions and help optimize existing security processes

Requirements

• ▹Completed degree in computer science/business informatics or IT vocational training (e.g. Fachinformatiker) with IT security experience
• ▹Solid experience administering and managing firewall systems
• ▹Knowledge of setting up and managing VPN connections, configuring security modules and analyzing security logs
• ▹Structured, independent, solution-oriented way of working with high quality standards
• ▹Very good German, at least C1 level
