Pleo is looking for a Solution Engineer to join its Commercial organisation in the UK/Ireland. As part of a highly collaborative three-person pre-sales team reporting to the Solutions Manager, you will articulate the value of Pleo's spend management solution, provide technical and accounting expertise to accelerate the sales cycle, and partner with GTM and Product teams. The role is offered on a hybrid or in-person basis in the listed locations, without visa sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- ▹Conduct generic or tailored product demonstrations, presentations and workshops
- ▹Develop and deliver technical proposals, RFP responses, trials and proofs of concept
- ▹Understand customer objectives, technical environment and accounting needs
- ▹Provide feedback and insights to product and engineering teams
- ▹Ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to implementation or onboarding
Requirements
- ▹3+ years of experience in a solutions or pre-sales role
- ▹In-depth understanding of B2B SaaS products, APIs and relevant technologies, including configuration, integrations and troubleshooting
- ▹Familiarity with accounting principles and financial workflows
- ▹Excellent planning, prioritisation and risk management abilities to handle multiple pre-sales engagements simultaneously
- ▹Demonstrated success in customer-facing roles with strong relationship-building skills and a customer-centric mindset
