Security Engineer - Cybersecurity IAM (Hybrid, Bucharest)

Responsibilities

• ▹Drive IAM lifecycle operations for the product platform and support emergency incident response
• ▹Design, implement and maintain access control solutions for the multi-cloud, global platform
• ▹Ensure performance, reliability and usability of access systems across thousands of services and users
• ▹Manage security risk and governance for identity and access, including least-privilege control design, threat modeling, verification and audit
• ▹Develop scripting and automation solutions to streamline access operations and integrations
• ▹Advise cross-functional stakeholders on their projects to ensure security alignment
• ▹Stay up to date with advancements in IAM and cybersecurity

Requirements

• ▹Expertise in cloud IAM services (e.g. AWS IAM, Azure Entra, GCP IAM, OCI IAM)
• ▹Experience deploying access provisioning and governance systems (e.g. just-in-time, self-service, zero trust, service mesh)
• ▹Strong understanding of core IAM technologies (SSO, federation, directory services, MFA) and authentication protocols (SAML, OIDC, Kerberos)
• ▹Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g. Python, Bash, Go)
• ▹Experience operating at scale and complexity in services and users
• ▹Knowledge of security fundamentals, threat modeling and risk management
• ▹Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• ▹Proven experience using AI technologies to enhance decision-making, workflows and efficiency

Nice to have

• ▹Running projects with diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
• ▹Experience with cloud-scale, business-critical Linux and/or other Unix-like environments
• ▹Familiarity with infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform, SaltStack, Ansible)
• ▹Experience with Microsoft Active Directory design and management
• ▹Experience with compliance frameworks (e.g. NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR)
• ▹Cloud security experience on AWS, GCP, OCI and/or Azure
