Senior Backend Engineer (.NET)

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Design and implement scalable .NET services and REST APIs for commerce and payment capabilities
• ▹Deliver payment gateway integrations and regional payment method support
• ▹Contribute to planning, design and feature delivery in a cross-functional engineering team
• ▹Advocate for non-functional requirements and cost-effective solutions; develop, test and maintain services in your domain
• ▹Take part in technical decisions and help shape the platform's architecture
• ▹Coach and mentor engineers at various levels
• ▹Build new features for a customer-facing application
• ▹Partner with Product, Finance, Data and Operations teams

Requirements

• ▹Proven experience in C# and .NET Core for web application development
• ▹Proven experience in REST API design, creation and consumption
• ▹Experience with relational databases and Entity Framework Core
• ▹Solid grounding in OOP best practices, containerisation with Docker and web security principles
• ▹Proven experience designing and operating microservice architectures
