Responsibilities

• ▹Co-own the architecture and implementation of control software for high-precision, cycle-time-critical manufacturing processes
• ▹Develop new products for the ecosystem and improve existing ones through code optimization and new features
• ▹Design, develop, and test PLC software with TwinCAT 3 (ST), including Motion (NC/PTP)
• ▹Integrate field devices (EtherCAT, IO-Link), robotics/drive technology, inline metrology, HMI connectivity (TwinCAT HMI), and data connectivity (OPC UA, MES, SQL, InfluxDB)
• ▹Create functional specifications, FAT/SAT, and lead customer acceptance tests
• ▹Develop coding standards, conduct code reviews, manage version control (Git), and mentor junior developers

Requirements

• ▹3+ years of industry software development experience in C/C++, Java, Rust, or similar
• ▹Confident in object-oriented programming
• ▹Experience building effective, modular software architectures
• ▹Experience with Git and structured, requirement-driven working style
• ▹German (B2/C1), English B2 (for customer/supplier contact)

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with PLC development, ideally with Beckhoff TwinCAT 3
• ▹Experience in the battery cell/process industry
