Senior Java Developer — Product Development (Remote)

Responsibilities

• ▹Continuously develop and maintain Java-based backend components
• ▹Implement new features and interfaces for modern media workflows in coordination with product management and customer requirements
• ▹Actively contribute to the technical concept and evolution of the platform's system architecture
• ▹Ensure high code quality through automated testing and regular code reviews
• ▹Work closely and cross-functionally with frontend development, product management, and support

Requirements

• ▹At least 5 years of software development experience in Java, as a backend or full-stack developer
• ▹Solid knowledge of software architecture and software design
• ▹Familiarity with common software design patterns and their targeted application
• ▹Practical experience with automated testing (e.g. unit or API tests) and static code analysis
• ▹Basic familiarity with databases
• ▹Enjoys teamwork, experienced with agile product development
• ▹Very good German skills, at least C1 level
