Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Part-Time, Equity-Only)

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, manage and optimize the Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure supporting the Qompyl platform
• ▹Deploy and maintain containerized services using Docker and Azure-native technologies
• ▹Develop, manage and improve CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions and related tools
• ▹Monitor infrastructure performance, availability and reliability through logging, monitoring and alerting
• ▹Collaborate with software engineers on application deployments, integrations and releases
• ▹Implement and maintain cloud security best practices: access controls, network security, encryption, role-based permissions
• ▹Monitor cloud resource utilization and proactively find ways to improve performance and reduce costs
• ▹Develop automation scripts and operational tooling to improve deployment efficiency
• ▹Design and maintain backup, disaster recovery and business continuity processes
• ▹Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment and performance issues
• ▹Document cloud architecture, deployment procedures and infrastructure standards

Requirements

• ▹Experience managing cloud infrastructure, preferably in Microsoft Azure
• ▹Experience deploying and managing containerized applications with Docker
• ▹Experience building CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or similar tools
• ▹Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, access controls and infrastructure best practices
• ▹Experience with monitoring, logging and alerting in production environments
• ▹Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues in a cloud environment
