Responsibilities

• ▹Lead a development team technically and give it direction and structure
• ▹Hold regular development conversations, mentor, pair program and run code reviews
• ▹Support new colleagues in settling into the team
• ▹Connect product management, UI/UX, support, testing and development, and negotiate priorities
• ▹Make technical debt and bottlenecks visible
• ▹Own critical modules, build proofs of concept and check architecture decisions against the actual code
• ▹Establish code reviews, test strategies and CI/CD as a shared standard
• ▹Introduce modern development tools, including AI and agent tools, that genuinely save the team time

Requirements

• ▹Several years of software development experience, ideally in native Objective-C/Swift or Java development
• ▹Prior technical leadership of a team or comparable responsibility for other developers
• ▹Give orientation, delegate responsibility and act as an enabler for colleagues of different experience levels
• ▹Experience with agentic software development or AI tools
• ▹Relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL
• ▹Git-based workflows, automated tests and CI/CD processes
