Senior Software Engineer - In-Store

Responsibilities

• ▹Exhibit mastery of the In-Store team's domain, leading the design and architecture of complex systems and influencing technical direction
• ▹Own delivery of large-scale features and projects, coordinating across multiple teams and aligning with business objectives
• ▹Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior and senior engineers
• ▹Collaborate closely with Product, Design and other stakeholders to shape requirements, balancing quality, performance and delivery timelines
• ▹Implement high-quality, resilient and scalable distributed systems with resilience mechanisms and best practices
• ▹Lead troubleshooting and incident management, resolving critical production issues and improving reliability
• ▹Improve development practices such as CI/CD, infrastructure as code and test automation coverage
• ▹Coordinate and lead cross-team technical initiatives
• ▹Assess new tools and techniques to enhance the team's capabilities
• ▹Use Claude Code and GitHub Copilot extensively in daily work, with hands-on AI training
• ▹Own the team's delivery pipeline, continuously optimizing code quality, testing standards and deployment practices
• ▹Take part in on-call duties, with responsibilities determined by team and area of expertise

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience
• ▹3+ years of experience in software engineering
• ▹Good experience in the .NET and C# ecosystem, maintaining large-scale, complex systems
• ▹In-depth understanding of architectural principles and patterns, particularly for distributed systems (e.g., microservices, event-driven architecture using Kafka)
• ▹Skilled in resilience mechanisms and performance tuning for stability and efficiency at scale
• ▹Experience with cloud infrastructure and services (e.g., AWS, Kubernetes/EKS) and DevOps practices with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Octopus Deploy and Terraform
• ▹Strong leadership and cross-team collaboration skills, able to guide technical efforts across teams in line with business objectives
