Backend C#/.NET Developer

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, develop and maintain robust backend services and APIs using C# and .NET frameworks
• ▹Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver scalable solutions
• ▹Ensure high standards of code quality, reliability and security in all backend implementations
• ▹Optimize existing backend processes for performance, scalability and maintainability
• ▹Troubleshoot, debug and resolve backend issues efficiently in production and staging environments
• ▹Document technical specifications and backend architecture clearly for team collaboration
• ▹Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and best practices

Requirements

• ▹Expert-level proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem
• ▹Strong experience with MySQL databases, including schema design and query optimization
• ▹Solid understanding of server-side logic, RESTful API development and integration patterns
• ▹Track record of writing clean, maintainable, well-documented code
• ▹Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• ▹Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting while managing priorities effectively
• ▹Proactive problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous learning

Nice to have

• ▹Experience developing and deploying cloud-hosted applications (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
• ▹Background working with distributed teams and Agile methodologies
• ▹Previous work in high-growth, innovation-driven environments
