DevOps Engineer – Google Cloud Platform

Responsibilities

• ▹Shape developer experience: build and automate platforms that help teams work fast and ship code with confidence
• ▹Remove bottlenecks and friction
• ▹Make CI/CD the central tool: integrate modern tools into pipelines so functionality, security and reliability are part of the process from the start
• ▹Take full ownership of the GKE/Kubernetes infrastructure on Google Cloud: design it and keep developing it
• ▹Proactive security engineering: look for vulnerabilities before the penetration testers do
• ▹Continuously evolve the platform so development is faster, safer and scalable

Requirements

• ▹5+ years of DevOps engineering experience
• ▹Thorough knowledge of the GCP ecosystem
• ▹Confident work with Kubernetes and Linux
• ▹Infrastructure as Code, Docker/CRI-O and shell scripting as core tools
• ▹Take the stack end-to-end, from the first line of Terraform to the final pod in production

Nice to have

• ▹Using Graylog, Grafana, Prometheus, Python or Jenkins for full transparency over systems
• ▹Using Ansible, Terraform or AWS
• ▹A portfolio, side project or demo repo showing you build things
