Back-End Developer

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, build and maintain reliable back-end services using Python, Django and related technologies
• ▹Create and evolve RESTful APIs for front-end and mobile applications and third-party integrations
• ▹Monitor, identify and resolve bottlenecks for fast, efficient and scalable applications
• ▹Contribute to the technical architecture of the platform
• ▹Safeguard the security and integrity of sensitive health data in line with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, GDPR)
• ▹Automate recurring workflows for the medical, billing and sales teams and deliver new features for patients and providers
• ▹Expand and maintain the internal platform for patient management, monitoring and telehealth (videoconferencing, secure messaging)

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
• ▹5+ years of professional experience as a back-end developer
• ▹2+ years of hands-on Python experience
• ▹Experience with Django, including Django REST framework
• ▹Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL
• ▹Strong understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns
• ▹Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• ▹Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment
• ▹French and English

• ▹Experience with Google Cloud Platform
• ▹Interest in cybersecurity
• ▹Interest in DevOps
• ▹Previous startup experience
• ▹Experience with HIPAA compliance and healthcare systems
