Cloud Developer – Remote Germany

Responsibilities

• ▹Contribute to the hospital pharmacy logistics solution (Ataxe Web)
• ▹Design, develop and optimize cloud-native applications based on Java 21 and Spring Boot
• ▹Design and implement future-proof microservice architectures
• ▹Ensure systems meet high standards for availability, scalability, data protection and cost efficiency
• ▹Develop and integrate AI-powered features into existing applications
• ▹Work with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB), including performance optimization and data consistency
• ▹Apply Test-Driven Development, refactoring and Clean Code practices
• ▹Collaborate closely with frontend developers and cross-functional teams

Requirements

• ▹Solid hands-on experience in software development with Java 21
• ▹Strong knowledge of Spring Framework, Spring Boot and Hibernate
• ▹Experience with Test-Driven Development, refactoring and Clean Code principles
• ▹Practical experience developing cloud services
• ▹Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (redundancy avoidance, performance optimization, data consistency)
• ▹Experience building distributed systems with a focus on modern cloud requirements
• ▹Confident use of Docker
• ▹Confident spoken and written English; German is a plus
