Backend Java Engineer - Kazakhstan/Russian speaker (6 months Contract)

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, develop and maintain backend services and APIs in Java
• ▹Build a high-performance, secure backend system
• ▹Own the full lifecycle of services from design to operation
• ▹Develop capacity planning tools for greater scalability
• ▹Troubleshoot issues and ensure data security

Requirements

• ▹Minimum 7 years of software development experience
• ▹Strong Java and backend frameworks (Spring Boot, REST)
• ▹Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and messaging (Kafka)
• ▹In-depth understanding of Linux and computer networks
• ▹Kazakh or Russian language skills for local partners

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with Apache open source projects
• ▹Experience profiling and optimizing ML applications
