Senior Backend Developer

Responsibilities

• ▹Develop backend services as a primary responsibility
• ▹Design and implement microservices that model logistics processes
• ▹Work closely with logistics domain experts to find the right solutions
• ▹Actively participate in architecture decisions and constructively question existing approaches
• ▹Promote code quality through reviews, pair programming and building meaningful standards
• ▹Support frontend development when needed

Requirements

• ▹Several years of solid experience in backend development with Java and/or Kotlin
• ▹At least solid experience in frontend development with TypeScript
• ▹Deep understanding of microservices architectures – not only in implementation but also in design
• ▹Experience with frameworks such as Spring Boot, along with the ability to critically evaluate their use
• ▹Solid knowledge of cloud-native development (AWS, Kubernetes)
• ▹Strong interest in software architecture and willingness to take ownership of it
• ▹Curiosity about the logistics domain
• ▹Fluent, negotiation-level German

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with event-driven architecture and Kafka
• ▹Experience with Angular
• ▹Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
• ▹Background in Domain-Driven Design
