Tech Lead - Manufacturing Data & AI Platforms

Responsibilities

• ▹Own delivery of manufacturing data products from concept to validated production
• ▹Lead a small, senior team of data, warehouse, and fullstack engineers
• ▹Resolve pipeline failures, performance, and data quality issues
• ▹Supervise DEV-QA-PROD progression with validation and change control
• ▹Partner with data science to frame solvable problems
• ▹Introduce AI-assisted approaches to development, testing, documentation
• ▹Produce architecture documentation and operational runbooks

Requirements

• ▹Engineering, computer science, or related degree, or equivalent
• ▹3+ years leading technical delivery for a software or data team
• ▹Advanced SQL with strong data modeling and performance awareness
• ▹Strong Python for production data engineering
• ▹Hands-on AWS experience (compute, storage, orchestration, identity, observability)
• ▹Deep experience with a cloud data warehouse (Snowflake preferred)
• ▹Git-based workflows, CI/CD, infrastructure as code

Nice to have

• ▹Experience in pharma, biotech, or regulated manufacturing
• ▹Familiarity with GxP validation, GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11
• ▹Familiarity with MES or process historians (e.g. OSIsoft PI)
