Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Lead data architecture and modeling strategy discussions
• ▹Simplify and scale the data platform
• ▹Improve data reliability, observability, and quality
• ▹Establish best practices for data modeling, testing, and code review
• ▹Develop and optimize ETL processes
• ▹Integrate data sources across the product portfolio
• ▹Mentor other data engineers
• ▹Model data for BI tools and reporting
• ▹Optimize business-critical query performance

Requirements

• ▹7+ years of data engineering experience
• ▹Experience with data warehouses (Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery)
• ▹Experience designing and building data pipelines and platforms
• ▹Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS preferred)
• ▹Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• ▹Advanced Python and SQL skills
• ▹Experience with third-party API integration
• ▹Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
• ▹Spark and Redshift experience, PySpark preferred
• ▹Experience with workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, Dagster)
• ▹Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
