Staff Software Engineer, Backend

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Design and scale backend systems, APIs, and services
• ▹Build world-class developer interfaces: APIs, SDKs, UIs, and a runtime
• ▹Collaborate directly with customers to solve integration challenges
• ▹Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of backend services
• ▹Shape the roadmap and company strategy
• ▹Engage with the open-source community, owning and maintaining the repo

Requirements

• ▹5+ years (senior) or 10+ years (staff) of backend engineering experience
• ▹Proven ability to scale high-traffic systems
• ▹Deep experience with developer infrastructure, APIs, and databases
• ▹Passion for developer tools and great developer experience (DX)
• ▹Comfortable with Node.js and modern backend stacks
• ▹Strong communicator, proactive, reliable in a remote environment
• ▹Based in North America, LATAM or Europe
