EU Go Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Design and maintain distributed backend systems using Go, AWS, Kafka, Postgres, and DynamoDB
• ▹Collaborate with product, AI, and frontend teams to deliver scalable features
• ▹Own critical parts of platform infrastructure (messaging orchestration, data pipelines, API integrations)
• ▹Ensure reliability, observability, and operational excellence
• ▹Track and iterate on performance metrics
• ▹Work asynchronously with global teams
• ▹Mentor teammates and contribute to code reviews

Requirements

• ▹BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical field
• ▹5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
• ▹Proven track record building systems with Go, AWS, Kafka, Postgres, and/or DynamoDB
• ▹Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and event-driven architectures
• ▹Solid understanding of system design, concurrency, and data consistency
• ▹Based in Europe

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with Python
• ▹Frontend experience (React, TypeScript)
• ▹Experience developing WhatsApp conversational applications
