Senior Software Engineer, Customer Solutions

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, develop, validate, maintain, release and operate backend customer integrations
• ▹Work with Sales, Engineers, Solution Architects on business requirements and sprint sizing
• ▹Conduct due diligence with clients and partners to define integration requirements
• ▹Ensure integrations are secure, performant, scalable, fault tolerant, testable
• ▹Participate in architecture and implementation proposal reviews
• ▹Support and improve release and deployment pipeline
• ▹Participate in on-call rotation

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/certification
• ▹4+ years relevant experience
• ▹Good coding skills, primarily Python, plus shell scripts, Jenkinsfile, JSON
• ▹Ability to quickly learn new technologies and complex systems (APIs, DBs, SDKs)
• ▹Deep understanding of AWS services and DevOps principles

Nice to have

• ▹Master's degree preferred
• ▹Experience with EC2, SQS, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS (Postgres), S3, Kinesis, ECS, IAM
• ▹Experience with Docker, NGINX, PostgreSQL, Consul, Cassandra
• ▹Experience with large-scale production systems (e.g. load balancing)
