Senior Software Engineer (C++, macOS)

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, implement, and maintain features in the x360Sync macOS agent (C++, Swift, Objective-C)
• ▹Debug and resolve production issues across the application stack and macOS system APIs
• ▹Participate in architecture and design discussions
• ▹Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews
• ▹Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams
• ▹Contribute to improving engineering standards, internal tooling, and processes
• ▹Break down complex problems into well-defined tasks
• ▹Document technical decisions, system behavior, and processes

Requirements

• ▹Solid professional experience writing C++ in a production environment
• ▹Strong knowledge of macOS internals, frameworks, and platform APIs (e.g. NSFileProvider, FSEvents)
• ▹Proficiency in Swift and/or Objective-C for macOS-native development
• ▹Experience debugging complex, multi-threaded, or multi-process applications
• ▹Experience with development workflows: version control (Git), code review, CI/CD
• ▹Strong written and verbal English communication
• ▹Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment
• ▹Comfortable working in an established codebase

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with file sync, backup, or storage-related products
• ▹Familiarity with Windows desktop development
• ▹Exposure to cross-platform C++ codebases
