Product Owner - Marketing & Sales Data

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a professional responsible for leading the business ownership and strategic development of a Marketing & Sales Data Product, ensuring that data solutions effectively support commercial objectives and enable data-driven decision-making within the logistics sector. You will contribute to defining and prioritizing the product roadmap, translating business needs into data requirements, establishing relevant KPIs and governance standards, and coordinating with international stakeholders to ensure a consistent and valuable data product across the organization.

What You Will Do on a Daily Basis

• Own the business responsibility for the group-wide Marketing & Sales Data Product across the customer journey, from campaigns to leads, new customers, revenue, and profitability;

• Define, develop, and prioritize the business roadmap in close cooperation with Marketing, Sales, Analytics, and Management;

• Develop and harmonize key metrics such as lead conversion, Customer Acquisition Cost, Return on Marketing Investment, and other marketing and sales KPIs;

• Work closely with Germany, Austria, and other countries to establish a group-wide standard for marketing and sales data;

• Define business requirements, data standards, and data governance guidelines within the data mesh approach;

• Support and enable business departments to use the data product and make data-driven decisions.

Your Key Skills

• Strong understanding of marketing, sales, or CRM processes;

• Knowledge of modern data warehouse and cloud technologies, ideally Snowflake;

• Ability to translate business requirements into concrete data and reporting solutions;

• Strong communication and facilitation skills with different stakeholders;

• Structured, independent, and strategic working style;

Your Main Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, business informatics, mathematics, data science, industrial engineering, or a comparable field;

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Data Product Owner, or similar role;

• Strong understanding of marketing, sales, or CRM processes;

• Experience working with data products, analytics, or business intelligence solutions;

• Experience with SQL, data modeling, and data quality frameworks;

• Experience with agile methods such as Scrum or Kanban;

• Very good English skills.
