IT Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Analyse and handle security incidents (detection, triage, containment, eradication, recovery)
• ▹Perform forensic analyses on endpoints, servers and networks
• ▹Develop and maintain incident response playbooks and processes
• ▹Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. ISO, IT operations, data protection, legal)
• ▹Support continuous improvement of security architecture and processes
• ▹Perform root cause analyses and lessons learned after incidents

Requirements

• ▹Completed degree in IT, IT security or a comparable qualification
• ▹Several years of IT security experience, ideally in incident response or a SOC environment
• ▹Sound knowledge of network security, operating systems (Windows, Linux), malware analysis and forensics
• ▹Experience with tools such as SIEM, EDR/XDR and forensic tools
• ▹Good knowledge of current threat landscape, attack vectors and TTPs (e.g. MITRE ATT&CK)
• ▹Good German and English, written and spoken
