Join Morgan Stanley’s Fixed Income Secured Lending team in Budapest and build your expertise at the intersection of corporate finance, asset management, structured credit, and global capital markets. You will analyze diversified lending portfolios, assess asset performance, and deliver insights that support funding, investment, and risk decisions.
This is an exciting opportunity for finance professionals who bring strong financial modelling and corporate finance experience, together with knowledge of investment or asset management, FX, derivatives, or credit products. You will gain direct exposure to an international lending platform and collaborate with experienced colleagues in London and New York.
Morgan Stanley’s Fixed Income Secured Lending group provides asset-backed financing to institutional clients across portfolios that may include consumer and corporate loans, residential and commercial mortgages, student loans, and other cash-flow-generating assets.

What you’ll do
Analyze and monitor diversified lending portfolios, including residential mortgages, commercial real estate, auto, consumer, student, and corporate loans
Build and enhance financial models to assess cash flows, asset performance, credit quality, and portfolio risk
Evaluate funding requests and provide clear, commercially focused recommendations
Monitor portfolio trends, market movements, and emerging risks, translating complex data into actionable insights
Assess the potential impact of interest rates, FX movements, derivatives, and changing market conditions on transactions and portfolios
Prepare insightful portfolio updates and presentations for senior management and global stakeholders
Partner with Lending, Investment Management, Risk, Finance, and Technology teams to strengthen transaction and collateral-monitoring capabilities
Conduct market, company, sector, and asset-level research to support portfolio and strategic decision-making
Improve analytics, reporting, and processes through automation and data-driven solutions
What you’ll bring
Experience in corporate finance, asset or investment management, portfolio analysis, credit, transaction services, valuation, risk, or financial modelling
Strong understanding of financial statements, cash-flow modelling, valuation techniques, and corporate finance principles
Knowledge of investment products, lending, structured credit, FX, derivatives, or capital markets
Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with confidence working with complex datasets
Advanced Excel skills; experience with SQL, Python, VBA, Power BI, or other analytical tools is an advantage
Ability to turn detailed financial analysis into concise recommendations and management-level insights
Strong communication skills and confidence working with international stakeholders
A proactive, curious, and collaborative mindset with excellent attention to detail
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Financial Mathematics, Engineering, or another relevant discipline
